Shirley Agudo is an American photojournalist, author, editor and intercultural trainer living in the Netherlands. She is the photographer and author of Bicycle Mania Holland, about the Dutch bicycle culture (www.bicycle-mania.nl) and Hot Pink, about the gay parade in Amsterdam. She is also co-author of Fodor’s Holland (Random House); the ghostwriter of Network Your Way to Success (C. Ruffolo; English and Dutch editions); the managing editor of Here’s Holland, the definitive guide to travel and life in Holland (www.heresholland.com); and the editor of several books.

Prior to moving to Europe in 1993, Shirley was managing editor of a US magazine, Pittsburgh’s Child, and, prior to that, a corporate public relations manager. She was born in Pennsylvania and currently lives near Amsterdam.
